Meet Prof. Perlman, a senior consultant who contributes her expertise to the ultrasound unit at Helen Schneider Women's Hospital, situated within Rabin Medical Center, Israel. A graduate of Hebrew University and Hadassah Medical School, Prof. Perlman attained her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Kaplan Medical Center, Rehovot, Israel, in 2013, and a further specialization in prenatal, obstetric, and gynecological imaging at Sheba Medical Center, Israel.

At present, Prof. Perlman fulfills a vital role in the prenatal and gynecological imaging departments at Rabin Medical Center. Additionally, she is the clinical lead at the multidisciplinary prenatal clinic for congenital anomalies of kidney and urinary tract malformations.

Prof. Perlman's extensive research endeavors revolve around the intertwined domains of maternal-fetal medicine. Her primary research areas involve the prenatal detection of fetal malformations and employing sonographic assessments in parturient cases to predict the feasibility of safe vaginal deliveries.

Functioning as both a practicing obstetrician and gynecologist, Prof. Perlman also serves as an associate professor at the renowned Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Her significant involvement lies in the training of graduate students, residents, and seasoned medical practitioners, imparting her knowledge in the realm of prenatal and gynecological imaging.

Within the clinic, Prof. Perlman expertly conducts a spectrum of sonographic scans throughout the entirety of pregnancy. These include nuchal translucency scans, early anatomical scans, comprehensive second and third-trimester anatomical scans, and targeted scans. Furthermore, she adeptly conducts gynecological ultrasounds to evaluate uterine, ovarian, and pelvic conditions, including three-dimensional imaging of the uterine cavity—an essential component of infertility investigations.
