Prof. Perelman is a senior consultant working at the ultrasound unit at the Helen Schneider Women's Hospital, Rabin Medical Center, Israel.
She had graduated the Hebrew university and Hadassah Medical School.
She had completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Kaplan medical center, Rehovot, Israel at 2013, followed by a fellowship in prenatal, obstetric and gynecological imaging at the Sheba Medical Center, Israel.
In addition to her current role in prenatal and gynecological imaging clinics at the Rabin Medical Center, she also is the clinical lead for the multidisciplinary prenatal clinic for congenital anomalies of the kidneys and urinary tract malformations
Her research activities are extensive and center on two interrelated fields of maternal-fetal medicine: prenatal diagnosis of fetal malformations and the parturient sonographic assessment to predict the probability of a safe vaginal delivery.
Prof. Perelman is a practicing obstetrician and gynecologist. As an associate professor at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, she is heavily involved in training graduate students, residents, and senior doctors in prenatal and gynecological imaging.
At the clinic, Prof. Perelman performs all the sonographic scans throughout pregnancy - Nuchal translucency, early anatomical anatomical scan, second and third trimester anatomical scans
for defects in the urinary and targeted scans for suspected malformations in the fetal kidneys, system, digestive system, skeleton, and brain. She performs as well Gynecological ultrasounds for assessment of uterine, ovarian and pelvic findings and three dimensional imaging of the uterine cavity prior to or as part of investigation of infertility.
